After announcing his intent to transfer out of Stanford approximately three weeks earlier, Reid Travis has quickly found a new home.
The 6-foot-8 forward announced his decision on Wednesday to transfer to Kentucky via Twitter, spending his final season of eligibility with John Calipari’s Wildcats.
Travis, a first team All-Pac 12 selection last season, was one of the top graduate transfers on the market. Villanova had also been vying for the talented big man that averaged 19.5 points and 8.7 rebounds during the 2017-18 season.
The decision came at the tail end of his visit to Lexington, which started on Tuesday.
