In a somewhat curious tradition, the selection committee decides to give us a look at the NCAA Tournament bracket, and then hours later the Turner Sports gives us the actual schedule that allows us to watch these games.
We now have the complete schedule for Thursday and Friday, and we’ll get to see Uncle Verne call the Villanova Wildcats opening round game!
(You may remember that Verne has called some memorable ‘Nova games, including last year’s opening two rounds and the 2009 regional in Boston. Yes, we believe this is cosmic intervention.)
