Villanova outscored UNC-Asheville 46-30 in the second half and Daniel Ochefu lead the way with 17 points as the Wildcats advance to the Round of 32, defeating the Bulldogs 86-56.
`Nova jumped out to a quick 6-0 thanks to three pointers by Josh Hart and Jalen Brunson. The Bulldogs cut that lead down to 3 after Dylan Smith's three.
More threes a little later as Kris Jenkins extended the Wildcat lead to 15-7, but Asheville went on a fast 5-0 run to yet again bring the game to within three points.
