Villanova's Jay Wright has been named one of the four finalists for Naismith Trophy Men’s College Coach of the Year.
Wright, who won the award in 2006, is also joined by Kansas's Bill Self, Indiana's Tom Crean, and Xavier's Chris Mack. As head coach of 'Nova, he guided the Wildcats to a 29-5 record this season and the team's third consecutive BIG EAST conference regular season championship. Additionally, the team reached the top of the AP Poll for the first time in program history and held the spot for three weeks.
The winner will be announced on Sunday, April 3 at the Naismith Awards Brunch at the NCAA Men’s Final Four in Houston.
