Suddently, things are so rosy for Villanova. They’ve lost 2 of their last 3 games (two-straight on the road) and now head to Washington D.C. to take on Georgetown.
There’s no sugar coating Wednesday’s night implosion. Villanova’s stars were out of rhythm as the ‘Cats blew a 19-point lead to the Johnnies. They now just have a half-game lead over Marquette, with the Warriors in action later tonight against Butler.
The Hoyas will likely smell blood in the water as they look to get out of a rough patch of their own. Villanova has won 9 straight in the series, and 13 of the last 14 overall.
