After a successful non-conference schedule, Villanova heads North this weekend to open up their CAA schedule against Albany.
The Danes finished a respectable 7-4 (4-4) last year and are 2-1 on the young season. They played their FBS foe (Old Dominion Monarchs) tough in a 31-17 loss and have handled their two wins impressively over Morgan State and Monmouth.
Villanova will face a new QB this year in Will Brunson, but RB Elijah Ibitokun-Hanks is back from injury that kept him out of the first two games of the season. This should be a good road test to assess Villanova’s CAA credentials.
