The last home game for Villanova in the regular season was a fun celebration of the senior class against Georgetown.
Georgetown fell short in their bid to upset the Villanova Wildcats. While the visitors closed the gap in the second half, the Wildcats' hot start was far too much to overcome; leaving the home team ahead by 13 at the final buzzer, 84-71.
Georgetown provided only lukewarm resistance in the first half, allowing the Wildcats to cruise to a 46-27 lead at the break. Seniors Ryan Arcidiacono and Daniel Ochefu were leading the way in their final regular season game at the Wells Fargo Center with nine and eight points, respectively, while Kris Jenkins was locked in for nine points of his own early on.
