One of the nation’s top guards in the class of 2019 has trimmed his list down.
Cole Anthony, a consensus five-star and top-five recruit in the country, announced his final dozen schools on Monday night via Twitter.
Anthony has Kansas, Duke, Kentucky, North Carolina, Louisville, Oregon, Wake Forest, Pittsburgh, Notre Dame, Miami, and a pair of Big East schools--Villanova and Georgetown--making the cut.
A number of recruiting services regard Anthony as the No. 1 point guard in all of the 2019 class. He is the son of basketball analyst Greg Anthony, who was a standout and NCAA champion at UNLV—before going on to a NBA career that lasted for just over a decade.
