The Villanova Ladycats (23-8) take on top-seed Notre Dame (30-3) on Sunday in the Second Round of the 2018 Women’s NCAA Tournament.
Harry Paretta’s squad nailed 16 three-pointers in their 81-74 victory over South Dakota State on Friday in the First Round.
Notre Dame defeated Cal State Northridge 99-81 in their opening round game of the Spokane Region.
In terms of what to expect from Villanova, Paretta clearly laid it out to the media, “I mean, it’s just obvious to me we can’t play toe to toe with them. Offensively, they’re just too skilled, so we’re going to try to slow the game down, just try to make it as ugly a game as possible.
