Vegas Golden Knights forward William Karlsson played in his 700th career NHL game. He started the game in the 4-3 victory against the Winnipeg Jets at T-Mobile Arena on Friday.
“Pretty crazy, huh? It’s been a long journey, especially with the Knights,” said Karlsson, who had an assist in the game against the Jets. “I’m happy I got to play my 700th game in Vegas.”
Karlsson began his career with the Anaheim Ducks during the 2014-15 season. He was traded to the Columbus Blue Jackets a season later.
Karlsson spent the next three seasons as a member of the Blue Jackets, scoring 16 goals and 31 assists.
