Forward Keegan Kolesar scored a goal and had an assist in the Vegas Golden Knights‘ 3-1 victory against the Anaheim Ducks at T-Mobile Arena on Monday.
Kolesar assisted on the game’s first goal, finding Tanner Pearson who scored in the high slot.
It capped a dominant period for the Golden Knights, who started off the game on the right foot for the first time in recent memory. Vegas outshot Anaheim 12-7 and had plenty of high-danger chances to start the game.
“We addressed that our starts haven’t been good enough,” Kolesar said.
