When asked whether the Vegas Golden Knights have the best group of defensemen in the NHL, Vegas coach Bruce Cassidy wasn’t shy with his response.
“The short answer is yes, we do,” Cassidy said.
Additionally, the recent spell of good defensive play can be attributed to the health of the defensive core. They’ve been able to build continuity and chemistry in an area that has been one of the strengths of the Golden Knights for the past few years.
Even if the Golden Knights were to dip into its reserves, they would have two strong options to compensate for injury or poor play.
