Announced today, The Professional Hockey Writers’ Association have revealed the shortlist for the 2020 Bill Masterton Trophy, and the Vegas Golden Knights blueliner is among the nominees.
Awarded annually to the NHL player who best exemplifies the qualities of perseverance, sportsmanship and dedication to ice hockey, the trophy is named after Bill Masterton who died on Jan. 15, 1968, after an injury sustained during a game.
And Theodore is a perfect illustration of what the Bill Masterton Trophy is all about.
