After beating the Carolina Hurricanes on Friday, the Vegas Golden Knights completed this back-to-back emphatic fashion by blowing out the slumping Predators.
It was pure domination for the Knights who carved out one of their most complete performances of the 2019-20 regular season.
Despite outshooting the Preds 14-2 in a lopsided first period, the Golden Knights couldn’t find a way past Pekka Rinne who stopped 36 of the 38 shots he faced them.
However, if you keep on trying you are eventually going to succeed and that was the case in the first period when Chandler Stephenson skated in on a breakaway before beating Rinne with a wrister.
