Vegas Golden Knights place Malcolm Subban on Injury Reserve

VEGAS

Malcolm Subban suffered a leg injury last night with a win over the St. Louis Blues.

Vegas Golden Knights General Manager George McPhee announced today, October 22, the following roster transaction: The team has placed goaltender Malcolm Subban on the injured reserve list (lower body). Subban is expected to miss approximately four weeks. The team is expected to make a goaltender recall following Sunday’s Wolves game.

Subban posted a 2-0 record to go with a 2.06 goals-against-average in three NHL appearances with the Golden Knights. In 50:50 minutes of ice time against the Blues on Saturday, he stopped a career-best 37 of the 38 shots he faced before suffering a lower body injury in the third period.
