The Vegas Golden Knights keep on making huge strides since entering the NHL as an expansion team in 2017, and gaining a new indoor ice hockey facility is just the latest accomplishment for the franchise.
The Henderson Hockey Facility will be built on 3.2 acres and will be situated on the southwest corner of Water Street and Atlantic Avenue, adjacent to Henderson City Hall.
The Henderson Mayor and City Council approved a lease agreement and the sparkling new facility is scheduled for completion by July 2020 with an estimated construction cost of $25 million, according to an official press release from the Vegas Golden Knights.
