We learnt last month that the Vegas Golden Knights were buying the rights of the San Antonio Rampage, AHL affiliate of the St. Louis Blues, with the intention of moving them to Las Vegas.
Well, we now know that the new AHL franchise, which will have Henderson in its name, will play at a brand-spanking new 6,000 seater arena at Henderson.
The new arena, which was announced at the Henderson “State of the City” address by Vegas Golden Knights President Kerry Bubolz, will be a state-of-the-art facility.
They will practice at Lifeguard Arena and will play at Orleans Arena starting 2020-21 until the facility at Henderson is finished.
