Golden Knights lock down forward to three-year deal

Vegas Golden Knights forward Keegan Kolesar signed a three-year extension with an average annual value of $2.5 million.

Kolesar has 11 points with seven goals and four assists, which is one goal shy of matching his career high. He is in his sixth season as a Golden Knight, after being acquired from the Columbus Blue Jackets in June 2017.

Since then, Kolesar has worked his way into a regular spot in the lineup, playing mostly on lines that require his north-south offensive game. But his biggest impact comes on the forecheck where he is a heavy player who can set the tone early in physical contest.
