Golden Knights extend defenseman’s contract

SALT LAKE CITY – It’s hard to call Vegas Golden Knights defensemen Brayden McNabb underappreciated.

The players appreciate him. So do the coaches.

The Golden Knights’ front office did as well, as McNabb signed a three-year contract that carries a $3.65 million annual average value.

“He’s a glue guy. We’ve all talked about his leadership,” Vegas coach Bruce Cassidy said. “He quietly goes about his business every day. He’s been a guy that’s been able to stay calm and healthy. He’s made his partners better. He’s like a big brother out there.
