LAS VEGAS – The Vegas Golden Knights and Edmonton Oilers are no strangers to each other. They’re scheduled to play four times this regular season. The two teams have also played in high-leverage match-ups in the postseason.
That’s why Vegas coach Bruce Cassidy said there’s nothing new to expect from the Oilers. The two teams played on Nov. 6, which resulted in a 4-2 victory for the Golden Knights.
“They started adjusting their style last year. They made a coaching change and changed some of their D-zone coverage: put a little more emphasis on keeping their D near the front of the net,” Cassidy said.
