Golden Knights’ Engelland wants to play beyond extension

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Deryk Engelland signed a one-year contract extension with the Golden Knights on Monday. But it may not be the veteran defenseman’s last.

Engelland, 35, is thinking long-term. Even if it means going a year at a time.
