Golden Knights end road trip with 5-2 win over Canucks

VANCOUVER, British Columbia — Erik Haula scored the go-ahead goal 6:27 into the third period, as the Golden Knights pulled away in the third period to beat the Vancouver Canucks 5-2 on Thursday at Rogers Arena.

Maxime Lagace started in goal for the Knights and finished with 19 saves, bouncing back from Tuesday’s rough outing in Edmonton.

David Perron had a first-period goal and appeared to set up Haula’s winner, though he wasn’t credited with an assist. William Karlsson also scored in the first.

Jonathan Marchessault and Reilly Smith added late goals to help the Knights (11-6-1, 23 points) win for just the second time in their past eight road games.
