Vegas Golden Knights coach Bruce Cassidy became the winningest coach in Golden Knights history following his team’s 3-1 victory against the Anaheim Ducks at T-Mobile Arena on Monday.
Cassidy surpassed first-year coach Gerard Gallant with the most wins at 119. He led the Golden Knights to their first Stanley Cup in the 2022-23 season.
“I came here with the intention to help this team win and win a Stanley Cup. We were able to do that the first year. I’d like to do it again,” Cassidy said. “You’re going to end up accumulating some wins along the way.
