Per WSMV, three Vanderbilt football players have been suspended indefinitely in the wake of an incident on Monday night.
Sophomore WR Donaven Tennyson, redshirt freshman DB Frank Coppet, and freshman DB Tae Daley were involved in the incident, which ended with Coppet and Daley suffering gunshot wounds and Daley’s car being stolen.
Daley’s car was located by police and was connected to a pair of gas station robberies that occurred early Wednesday morning, though the suspects have not been found.
The story that came out on Tuesday was that the three had gone to confront a person who had allegedly stolen Tennyson’s cell phone on Monday night when the shooting occurred.
