Vanderbilt’s 38-17 win over Ole Miss wasn’t the only good news of the weekend. On Monday, Woodbury (MN) athlete Nico Bolden, who was at the Ole Miss game on an official visit, announced that he’d be committing to Vanderbilt:
Bolden’s position isn’t entirely clear; Rivals lists him as a safety and a three-star recruit (and the #2 recruit in the state of Minnesota); 247 Sports also has him as a three-star recruit, but lists him as both an outside linebacker and a safety. That suggests that the 6’4”, 195-pound Bolden could be ticketed to play the “Star” position (currently manned by Oren Burks) when he arrives at Vanderbilt.
