The #6 ranked Vanderbilt Women’s Golf Team won the UCF Challenge held over three days earlier this week at Eagle Creek Golf Club in Orlando. This is their second win of the 2018-19 school year and first of the Spring Season.
They defeated Kent St and Miami, who placed second and third. Other power 5 schools in the field were Purdue, Michigan State, Iowa State, Penn State, and UCF.
The Commodores were led by Auston Kim and Courtney Zeng who placed T2 and T5 as individuals. Both fired opening rounds of 70 while Kim went low with a 66 on Day 2 and a 70 in the final round, totaling 206.
