They kicked our asses on Thursday. We took our anger out on the Tide. We've got Buehler on the mound today. Keep that wound fresh, boys, and unleash hell!
Even though it pains us, we have to give credit to aTm head coach Rob Childress for implementing a flawless game plan against the up-to-that-point-impregnable Carson Fulmer. Further, we must acknowledge that their hitters, specifically Birk and Allemand, executed that game plan better than even their coach could have imagined.
In fact, here's a child's drawing of Thursday's game, as it was horrifying, unexpected, and all aTm.
Senior shortstop and team leader Blake Allemand left the park twice, and he and fellow middle infielder Ryne Birk formed a formidable Texas two step at the top of the order.
