During Derek Mason's second season as the Head Coach here in Nashville, we saw a significant change in the way the defense played, but the progress on the offensive side of the ball was just not as present as one would hope with the addition of Andy Ludwig. Going into the "Dead Period" of recruiting, Vanderbilt closed with one more BIG commitment on the defensive side of the ball when Joejuan Williams announced his commitment to Vanderbilt just hours after an LSU official visit. The offense was more than due for some good news, and it came on Monday night.
