MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (AP) Ralph Webb ran for a 39-yard touchdown late in the fourth quarter to lift Vanderbilt past Middle Tennessee 17-13 on Saturday night.
The Commodores overcame a 10-point deficit with two touchdowns in the final 6:14. Quarterback Johnny McCrary scored on a 29-yard run before Webb scored with 1:12 left to play. It was Vanderbilt's (2-3) first win against an FBS opponent this season.
Webb finished with 155 yards on 25 carries for his first 100-yard rushing game of the season and third of his career.
