Because, yeah, this team scored 91 and 79 points in its first two games, so we at least have some evidence they’re better than this. The 2012-13 team scored 33 points against Marist in the fourth game of the season, but that team had already been showing signs of having a terrifyingly bad offense early that season (like, they’d scored 48 points against Oregon just two games before that) and that team didn’t have a single offensive player on the level of Scotty Pippen Jr.
