Vanderbilt All-American LB Zach Cunningham to enter NFL draft

Vanderbilt linebacker Zach Cunningham will forgo his senior season and enter the 2017 NFL Draft, he reportedly announced Saturday night.

Cunningham, a redshirt junior, made the announcement at the Walter Camp Football Foundation awards banquet in New Haven, Connecticut.

College underclassmen face a Monday deadline to apply for early draft eligibility.

Cunningham, who became the first unanimous All-American in Vanderbilt history this season, is projected to be a first- or second-round pick in April’s draft.

Cunningham, a three-year starter, amassed 295 tackles during his time with the Commodores, including 39.5 tackles for loss and six sacks.
