Caliegh Lofstead and Margatet Ollinger led the Commodores to a solid team wide performance this past weekend at the Black & Gold Invitational.
Lofstead and Ollinger placed first and second in the PV while their teammates posted 18 personal bests. Lofstead vaulted 3.95m (12’ 11.5”) while Ollinger went 3.85 (12’ 6.25”) besting Kentucky and Michigan among other direction schools. (Complete meet results are here)
Unlike the ending of Indoor (typical of national meets), this meet featured a full compliment of athletes. Notables were freshman sprinter Taiya Shelby and sophomore sprinter Regan Clay. Shelby ran her personal best time in the 200m at 24.
