SEC: Vanderbilt loses leading receiver

SEC links for Thursday:

1. Vanderbilt lost its leading receiver on Wednesday, reports the Tennessean. C.J. Duncan, who caught passes for 441 yards and four touchdowns last season, suffered a lower leg injury, said head coach Derek Mason. The injury is likely to keep Duncan out the entire season.

2. Georgia could play two quarterbacks in opener, reports Jason Butt of Columbus Ledger-Enquirer. Kentucky offensive coordinator Shannon Dawson said this week that even after he picks a starter that he could play the backup. Said he’s never really done that before, but you never say never.
