All right, so after Vanderbilt bowling’s dominant performance on Wednesday to advance to the regional finals, the Commodores will finally face the top seed in their bracket, the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
Nebraska shockingly lost to Medaille to open the day Wednesday, but the Huskers recovered to knock out Mount St. Mary’s in the afternoon and then advanced to the regional final by knocking out Medaille.
The good news for Vanderbilt is that while Nebraska will have to win back-to-back matches to advance, Vanderbilt only needs to win once. The Commodores and Huskers will play a match at 3 PM CT under the Mega Match format, which is a traditional game, a Baker game, and a best-of-seven Baker series if the teams split the first two, and if Nebraska wins, the rematch will immediately follow.
