I’m probably not going to do an entire post for every transfer portal entry, but this one — announced just a day after Vanderbilt ended its season — feels very significant.

Ken Seals came in and won Vanderbilt’s starting quarterback job as a true freshman in 2020. In 2021, with a new coach and a new offensive system and a finger injury limiting him, Seals struggled and was eventually replaced midway through the season by Mike Wright. He then didn’t play at all in 2022 before coming full circle in 2023, taking the starting job back after AJ Swann struggled to open the season.
