Jay Woods carries the Vanderbilt flag after a victory over MTSU on October 3, 2015.
“It’s some way to get your message out, the person you are, not [just] the football player, but the person yourself,” Woods said. “People don’t get to know who you are if they don’t see you personally.”
Woods is known for his presence on social media, posting pictures almost daily to his thousands of followers and friends across Facebook, Twitter, and his favorite, Instagram.
There’s no holding back with what he’ll post — whether it’s about social justice issues or his excitement for an upcoming football game — and that is completely intentional.
