Jake Bernstein has been a fixture on the Vanderbilt Commodores' offensive line over the last four years, starting 41 games at guard during his career, including every game in the 2014 and 2015 seasons. Now, Bernstein will get his chance in the NFL despite going undrafted as the Kansas City Chiefs have signed Bernstein as a free agent.
Bernstein, a 6'4", 310-pound guard from Lake in the Hills, IL, previously had a predraft workout with the Chiefs, so it's no surprise that in spite of going undrafted, the Chiefs were interested enough to bring him into camp as a free agent.
