After a couple of months of quiet on the recruiting trail, the Vanderbilt Commodores have picked up their second commitment this week, bringing them to 14 total in the 2019 recruiting class.

Julian Hernandez is a 6’3”, 295-pound offensive lineman from St. Thomas Aquinas, a powerhouse program in South Florida. He committed to Vanderbilt on Wednesday night over offers from Louisville, Pitt, and Syracuse, among others. Rivals has Hernandez rated as a two-star — likely due to his height (a bit on the small side for an offensive lineman, though he’s the same height as current Commodores Bruno Reagan.
