Former Vanderbilt quarterback Jordan Rodgers has been hired as a SEC Network studio analyst, ESPN announced Tuesday.
Rodgers is scheduled to begin working for the network on Aug. 23, when he will appear on sports news and information show “SEC Now.”
“I’ve devoted my life to football,” Rodgers said in a statement. “I was never the most talented player on the field. I had to work hard for it and sharing those experiences and that knowledge is my new focus.”
Rodgers, the younger brother of Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, played two seasons at Vanderbilt from 2011-12 after transferring from junior college.
