As part of its effort to go to more of a year-round schedule, the NBA has stepped up its offseason competition. The NBA Summer League now has competing rosters from all 30 NBA franchises.
Two smaller leagues open today and run through Thursday: the Utah Jazz Summer League, which includes the Jazz, Grizzlies, Hawks, and Spurs; and the California Classic, consisting of the Kings, Lakers, Warriors, and Heat. Then, all 30 teams will go to Las Vegas from July 6-17 for the main Summer League competition.
