ABC must really love former SEC quarterbacks on its signature shows. Former Vanderbilt quarterback Jordan Rodgers reportedly will be a contestant on this season of “The Bachelorette.”
Rodgers is the younger brother of Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Jordan was the starter for two years with the Commodores and helped lead them to a nine-win season in 2012.
The first former SEC player to be on one of the network’s more popular shows was former Florida quarterback Jesse Palmer, who was on “The Bachelor.” Former Georgia walk-on Josh Murray, the older brother of former Bulldogs starting quarterback Aaron Murray, also was featured on “The Bachelorette.
