Dansby Swanson is finally ready to make his professional debut, but he wasn't the only member of the 2015 Vanderbilt Commodores that has had to deal with injuries at the outset of his MLB career.
Vanderbilt Baseball was well represented at the 2015 MLB Draft. While Dansby Swanson made headlines as the #1 overall pick, eight of his teammates heard their names called by professional teams as well. When the dust settled, only one draftee - probable weekend starter John Kilichowski - returned to Nashville for a fourth year on campus.
Unfortunately, injuries have taken their toll for the latest class of Commodore professionals.
