After being a surprise two-point favorite over #8 Texas A&M, Vanderbilt dominated the Aggies in a 77-60 victory. Vanderbilt’s starters were the key driver behind the win, scoring all but 8 of the Commodore’s 77 points. Jeff Roberson led the way with his career high 20 points, shooting 8-10 from the field. Damian Jones had a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds, while fellow big man Luke Kornet was 4-6 from beyond the arc and added 9 rebounds. Wade Baldwin chipped in with 17 points and 8 assists.
Texas A&M made the game close after Vanderbilt opened up on a 14-1 run, even taking a 28-24 lead with 5 minutes to go in the first half.
