Vanderbilt was able to reach the SEC Tournament finals for the eighth time in twelve years, but Sunday they took their seventh loss, this time 7-3 to Florida.
Without an SEC Tournament championship, Vanderbilt’s potential to be a national seed (and therefore earn the right to host a Super Regional) is very much up in the air.
Vanderbilt will find out tomorrow at 11 am CT (ESPNU) whether or not it will beat out other bubble teams such as Texas A&M, TCU, Missouri State, and Florida State for a top-eight seed.
With all of their weekend starters unavailable, Vanderbilt had to turn to a committee of pitchers.
