The Chicago White Sox got to work quickly after the 2015 MLB Draft and have signed 26 of their 38 picks.
Conspicuous by his absence in the signed draft group is first round pick RHP Carson Fulmer. This not because of hard-headed representation (at least not yet), but instead because of Fulmer’s Vanderbilt Commodores being contenders in the College World Series.
The Sox weren’t active in the 2nd and 3rd rounds (compensation picks due to the offseason signings of Dave Roberston and Melky Cabrera), but here’s a review of the Sox’ draft picks (all signed) from rounds 4 – 10:
Round 4, 112th overall — LHP Zack Erwin: The 21 year-old out of Clemson is known to throw a low 90s fastball and is adept with changing speeds.
