Good morning.
The Vanderbilt baseball team dropped an SEC series (technically; it’s really a Big 12 series) for only the second time all season with a 3-1 loss at Missouri on Friday night. Like the first game of the series, Vanderbilt got great starting pitching -- Patrick Raby allowed just three hits over seven innings of work — but couldn’t get any offense going. The Commodores are now 9-8 in the SEC and 23-16 overall; they’ll play the final game of the series at 2:00 PM CT today on the SEC Network+ and WatchESPN.
Women’s golf finished in seventh place in the stroke play portion of the SEC Championship; that’s good enough to advance them to the eight-team match play competition over the weekend.
