Vanderbilt's sweep of Auburn this weekend guaranteed the Commodores the No. 6 seed at the 2016 SEC Tournament.
Mississippi State became the first team in SEC history to go from last place to a conference title in a year's time. Now, the Bulldogs can double up their conference honors by standing atop the toughest league tournament in college baseball.
The 2016 SEC Baseball Tournament kicks off on Tuesday from Hoover, Alabama. Vanderbilt finished the season with an 18-12 conference record, but that was only good for the No. 6 seed in a stacked league this spring. As a result, the Commodores will kick off this year's bracket with a bright and early 9:30 AM first pitch on Tuesday morning.
