This man just can’t stop scoring.
For the second straight match, Christian Bolaños had a goal and an assist for Costa Rica as the Ticos cruised to a 4-0 win over the U.S. on Tuesday night in the capital city of San José.
The ‘Caps midfielder set up fellow MLSer Johan Venegas for Costa Rica’s first goal with a pinpoint cross from the left, before heading in a Bryan Ruiz cross to double their advantage (see highlights below). Ruiz’s Sporting CP teammate Joel Campbell, who is on loan from English Premier League side Arsenal FC, then scored two late goals to seal the convincing victory.
