VANCOUVER, BC – Vancouver Whitecaps FC announced on Monday that to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the 1979 NASL Soccer Bowl Championship, 1,979 tickets for the March 2 home opener will be made available for $19.79.
“This is a very special year as we mark the 40th anniversary of the Whitecaps winning the soccer bowl,” said Rachel Lewis, Whitecaps FC chief operating officer. “We are excited this nod to 1979 will ensure tickets are accessible to all who want to be a part of kicking off the anniversary season. We look forward to welcoming fans new and old back to BC Place on March 2.
