Vancouver Whitecaps FC, along with Major League Soccer (MLS), have been closely monitoring recent updates on the Coronavirus (COVID-19). All MLS matches and club events are scheduled to proceed, including Saturday’s road match at Los Angeles Galaxy, and next Saturday’s home match against Colorado Rapids at BC Place. The health and safety of our players, staff, and the public is our top priority. The most recent information from Health Canada states the public health risk associated with COVID-19 for Canada is low. We will continue to follow the guidelines set out by Health Canada, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the World Health Organization (WHO), while staying in regular communication with MLS and BC Place officials to ensure that appropriate procedures are in place to protect our community.
